Part of this website, as you may have already read, contains a series of selections of Old Testament Bible passages, mainly about how the Bible says the Jewish race developed and settled in ancient Israel, and how it says God sometimes punished them for disobeying his commands, which led to them changing their ways.
These are all linked to in:
Bible Part 2: The Lives and Suffering of the Ancient Israelites, The Book of Revelation, And People's Religious Experiences Today.
There is also a section in the series about the requirements of the Laws of Moses and what the New Testament says about whether Christians should obey them, and how some of them, like the commands to sacrifice animals to pay for sins, were just an illustration pointing to greater truths revealed in the New Testament, such as the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made.
Some parts of the Old Testament and the Book of Revelation are very unpleasant. If you become offended by anything, please read An Attempt to Explain Gruesome Bible Passages.
